Worrals in the Wilds by W. E. Johns was first serialized in Girl’s Own Paper in ten parts from Nov 1945 to Aug 1946. It was published in book form in 1947 by Hodder & Stoughton. The events in the book take place mostly in Africa.
In 1969, French publisher Aredit published a two-part comic strip adaptation of the story entitled Worrals au-dessus de la forêt vierge and Worrals gagne le partíe in their small format comic series for girls Tina, in issues 15 and 16.
