Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy #67 (2013)

Articles in Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy are designed to offer something to every gamer, regardless of experience level. We make historical wargaming easy, fun and welcoming for new players, but also try to provide the depth and complexity demanded by hobby grognards. Each issue is organized around an ever-changing central theme, from ancient chariot warfare to WWII airborne forces. We make sure each issue contains plenty of non-theme articles on a variety of other topics as well. Because our main focus is on having fun with no nonsense attached, the majority of our articles provide scenarios or rules adaptations. Another big chunk of Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy’s content is focused on straightforward advice and tools to help you make sense of the vast and every growing world of historical wargaming: we offer miniature reviews and comparisons, plus rule tests and evaluations. For the creative types, there are also plenty of painting, conversion and terrain building articles. And for those interested in the meta side of gaming, we provide regular columns by industry insiders like Rich Clarke, Henry Hyde, and Rick Priestley.
