Das Blatt der Hausfrau #54 (1939/40)
"Das Blatt der Hausfrau" was Germany's second-largest women's newspaper at the time, with a circulation of 575,000.
Only the NSDAP magazine "NS-Frauenwarte" had an even higher circulation (1.00 to 1.5 million in 1939).
One can therefore infer the ´ "Das Blatt der Hausfrau" as one of the best-selling women's newspapers at the time, played an important role in the "newspaper world".
There was a pattern sheet in the magazine and in the middle of the magazine there was always the children's supplement "Blatt der Kinder".
The pattern sheet was only available in issue B and cost 5 pfennigs more than without a pattern sheet.
