Biggles and the Poor Rich Boy by W. E. Johns was first published in 1961 by Brockhampton. There have been at least 2 subsequent editions in the English language. The events in the book take place probably around the late 1950s or early 1960s. The book is, in effect, a grand tour of one of Johns' favourite parts of Britain, the Scottish Highlands. The amount of geographical detail in the text exceeds that in any other Johns' story--practically every town, hotel and street mentioned actually exists.
